Especially for birth parents

As you read this, we know that you are making one of the hardest decisions you have had to make.

We love the birth parents of our children. Without them, we would never have the gift of parenthood. We have a deep respect and admiration for each of them for having the courage to do what they did. Our lives have truly been blessed. We can never thank them enough for that. We cannot help but feel that same love and respect for you as you strive to do what is best for you and your child.

We talk about adoption openly in our family and extended families. Our children will always know of the special angels that made it possible for them to be in our family. As they get older, we hope that adoption is just a normal part of their lives.

We want you to know that we will share the gratitude we have for your decision with our child. We will tell them of the love that you have for them and the selfless decision that you made. We want your child to know of the courage it took for you to make this decision and how lucky we are to have them in our family.

We know that adoption is a wonderful opportunity for all of those involved and we believe it is a blessing from the Lord in which birthparents, adoptive parents and their extended families grow and benefit. We love adoption and know with all our hearts that Heavenly Father provided adoption as a way for us to create our family. We believe adoption is a sacred exchange of trust. We admire the faith you are using in choosing a family for your child. We are grateful that you are willing to consider adoption and want you to know we wish for you all the comfort, peace and reassurance you need during this time in your life.
